Salobre Golf & Resort pretends to improve its activity by including the principles of sustainable development and respect towards the environment according to the ISO 14001 and Golf of the Biosphere standards.

We are aware of the impacts that a golf course generates over the natural environment (high consumption of water for irrigation, contamination of the ground due to the use of chemical products, generation of dangerous residues, etc). For that reason, our aim is to improve sustainable measures of the golf course assuming the commitment to finding and applying the means of continuous respect towards the environment. These improvements will be determined by:

• Completing all legal requirements and other requirements in relation to the environment and applicable to the golf course.
• Encouraging all workers and clients to learn, sensitize and communicate in terms of the environment.
• Evaluating all activities which can generate a negative impact on the environment, trying to find sustainable alternatives with the environment preventing all types of pollution.
• Effective management of all residues generated by the golf course.

This policy will be revised annually by the Environmental Management Responsible and will allow us to improve continuously in relation to the knowledge and sustainability of our environment.
